I happened to catch the Tiger Woods press conferencea couple weeks ago. To me, I don’t think he would be apologizing if he didn’t get caught. The only apology he owed was to God and his loved ones. Not the world.
In the strip above, Kathy is a clever lady. I remember from the press conference that Tiger mentioned his wife didn’t bust up his car. Ha! He cheats and now he lies.

No one would apologize for something they didn’t get caught at doing. I agree with you, M. His apology should have just gone out to his wife and his harem. He doesn’t owe me anything. He owes them.
And I like how you snuck this strip in on me. I wasn’t expecting it.
Thank you George. I personally wouldn’t aim a golf club at my husband’s jewels. A kick will do just fine.
I guess she just used whatever was handy. Or most likely, he tried to play off like he had been golfing that night and showed her the club as proof.
ATTENTION MEN: Do not hand your pissed-off wife anything that could necessarily kill you.
Just a helpful hint.
If I were pissed-off enough at my husband to do damage to him, he wouldn’t have to hand me anything to hit him with. I’d rip his jewels off with my bare hands! I agree that Tiger doesn’t owe us anything. I don’t think he even owes his “harem” an apology. Those women knew he was married and what they were getting into. They owe his wife an apology if anyone owes anyone anything. Now I just wish the media would leave them alone and let them live their lives.
Great comic! I love Kathy.
Thanks, Tweasa.
I agree with you about the other women. They have some nerve.
That’s exactly how I felt about the Bill Clinton apology lo those many years ago. I was like “Why is everyone acting like he has to apologize to US?” If anyone should be aplogizing to us, it’s Tripp, Gingrich, Lott and Starr!”
As for Tiger, I remain confounded by how the media decided to just DESTROY him. What the hell? They just gleefully eviscerated him. They made the whole thing five thousand times bigger than it had to be. No one deserves to be humiliated in front of the whole world like that for a private matter. (And I don’t even give a flyin’ fruit salad about golf.)
JLG, The media will try to destroy any public figure possible. No exceptions. What I don’t get is why do celebrities think, if they do something, they’ll get away with it? In due time, it will bite them in the butt.
I whole-heartedly agree with you on that one. I think the apology was more for his public image and to salvage his sponsorships…at least, thats how it appeared to me anyways.
That’s near the top of the list of things not to say to your wife… Would it be crass to make golf ball pun at this point?
