Based on a true story. It’s a blessing that I know friends with kids. They keep me inspired!
I used to tell my parents that they didn’t have kids…they had free labor.
For the vast majority of history, people had kids to get free labour more than to get heirs. Most Western kids these days have it way too good.
My parents utilized my skills so often that I gave thanks when remote controls were invented.
Just as long as they don’t get ‘smartalecy’ and fold the trash and take out the laundry. That would be something I think I would have done in my youth… right before I’d be shipped to Abu Dhabi
LOL! Before you were sent to Abu Dhabi, your parents probably would have worn your behind out that you wouldn’t be able to sit for weeks.
There comes a point in your life when you realize ‘Mom’ is really an acronym for, “Move Out, Moron!”.
I know it’s late in the game, And I don;t know if you still see this, but for what it’s worth, I love this comic.
Thanks, Neff! I appreciate that.
Heck, my parents had us specifically for the free labor!
