Why does McDonald’s Big Breakfast Meal have pancakes, hashbrown and a biscuit? It’s totally unnecessary. Maybe I should write a letter to corporate, suggesting they change the meal. Keep 1 carb! Add apple slices or yogurt. I do realize the restaurant wants to fill the customers’ belly, but geez, customers won’t be able to keep their pants button after all that. Get it together, Mickey D’s!

If you’re expecting anything healthy from McDonald’s, then you’re living in a dream world. Don’t berate McDonald’s for taking advantage of the market as it is; eat at healthier restaurants. Try a family diner for breakfast, where you can get fruit and whole grain cereal with your meal.
As for why the McDonald’s Big Breakfast has all those items, it’s trying to market off the image of an “Old-Style Breakfast”; you know, back when people did enough manual labour to work off 3 carbs before they even sat down for breakfast. Blame the romantic image that things from the past have, even though they no longer have any relevance to modern times anymore.
McBob, you can eat healthier at Mickey D’s, you just have to pick correctly.
And if they’ve convinced you of that, then they’ve tricked yet another customer into eating their unhealthy food.
If you want to eat healthy, go to a Mom and Pop restaurant.
I agree with Bearman..I’ve lost 76 pounds and I still go to Mickey D’s to get their healthier selections. I love their parfaits and their oatmeal. I just believe that they need to change their Big Breakfast. You know that it’s ridiculous, McBob! Pancakes, Hashbrowns, and a biscuit? C’mon now! It needs balance. Maybe they could add bananas or strawberries on top of the pancakes and another meat. Get rid of 2 carbs.
Sad thing is, they penalize you for trying to make healthier choices. I tried to order a McChiken without the bun and a $1.00 sandwhich turn into a $3.59 piece of meat.
Are you serious?! Goodness gracious!
