I’ve been pretty busy learning a new project for work. I hate it with a passion, but I need to pay bills. There will be filler art next weekend.
Have a good one.
I was nominated for the ART category on WCRCA (Webcomic Reader Choice Awards), and I appreciate it! Now you can vote for the comic. The thing about it is that you must sign up to Webcomic Planet to vote. There’s always a catch, right?
Thanks for voting!
For a month or 2, I’m going to be busy with my job. I’m learning a new product, so it’s a possibility that comics may be posted on Sundays as temporary. All I can tell you is to subscribe to the RSS feeds.
Sorry guys.
Today is my 29th birthday. I really have no plans today. Just work and home. I might treat myself to a birthday cupcake.
I want my 29th year to be the most accomplished year. I want excitement and adventure. To stop taking about it, and just do it!
Now that 30 is just around the corner, I’m not going to pout about it. I look pretty young to be the age that I am, and blessed to wake up everyday.
It’s that time of the year for the 2009 WebComics Readers Choice Awards, hosted by WebComic Planet. Until the end of this month, they are accepting nominations for various of categories. If you like what you see with my comic, feel free to nominate Joe! in any category that’s suitable. Don’t forget to give the reason why you are nominating the comic in that particular category.
I must inform you that the nominations are not anonymous, and voting begins November 1st.
A few years ago on my favorite art site, Deviant Art, I came across Arie Monroe. Her art is excellent! The way she draws the female anatomy blows my mind. I long for the day that I can draw curves like this woman. She’s definitely a talented artist. Check out her page to see for yourself. You won’t regret it.
If you’re a fan of blogs as I am, she has a Blogspot!

I was in the mood to make a wallpaper out of the Autumn mini strip. If you have noticed, I added a more to the background.
If ya like what you see, download the zip file. There are only 3 sizes to chose from: 1200×900, 1024×768, and 800×600. Get it while it’s hot!
I apologize if the image looks sort of distorted. My crazy self save the file as 72 dpi. Yikes!
I just came across this adoreable webcomic called Anecdote by Jonathan Gies. He describes the webcomic as “The never-ending battle between innocence and experience rages on, with our pint-sized protagonists caught in the middle.”
It’s worth the read. I enjoyed the art and I had a few chuckles myself. If you dig the comic, register to Drunk Duck and join the forum. Show Jonathan some love!
Make sure to check out tomorrow’s comic. It will be posted bright and early.
